About Anne M. Manicone
Anne Manicone, M.D., is a board certified physician at the General Pulmonary Clinic, Medical Intensive Care Unit and Inpatient Pulmonary Consult Service at UW Medical Center, a member of the Center for Lung Biology and a UW associate professor of Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Manicone strives to deliver the best care in pulmonary and critical care medicine and to educate patients and their family members so that they are able to fully engage and participate in their care.
Dr. Manicone earned her M.D. at Cornell. She is board certified in both Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. She has a funded research program investigating the immune mechanisms of lung injury and repair. Through her research and clinical care, she hopes to identify new avenues to improve the health of those afflicted with pulmonary diseases.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Manicone enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel and soccer.
