About Andrew P. Dervan

Andrew Dervan, M.D., M.B.A., is a board certified physician at the Genetic Medicine Clinic at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Medical Genetics.

Clinical genetics is a rapidly evolving field where an informed conversation between patients and caregivers is essential in determining if and when genetic testing will help improve one's health or health-related decisions. Dr. Dervan enjoys that the our medical genetics clinic at the UW allows both the time and space to accomplish exactly this goal.

Dr. Dervan earned his M.D. at Harvard. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Biochemical Genetics. His clinical and research interests include cancer genetics, precision medicine and genomic medicine.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Dervan enjoys hanging out with his two toddlers.
