About Andrea L. Cheng-Hakimian

Andrea Cheng-Hakimian, M.D., is a board certified neurologist at UW Medical Center and Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Neurology.

Dr. Cheng-Hakimian provides care to patients with epilepsy, including women with epilepsy during their pregnancies. She enjoys getting to know patients and educating and empowering them to participate fully in their care.

Dr. Cheng-Hakimian earned her M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. She is board certified in both Neurophysiology and Neurology. Her clinical interests include women's health and epilepsy. Her research focuses on women's health and epilepsy, with special emphasis on pregnancy and epilepsy.

In her free time, Dr. Cheng-Hakimian enjoys yoga, outdoors activities, visual arts and culinary arts.
