About Alison Evans Heald
Alison Evans Heald, MD, is a board-certified internist specializing in HIV and primary care. Dr. Heald values the importance of shared decision-making to provide individualized care for each patient. Dr. Heald's clinical expertise includes the management of HIV and the common medical problems (hypertension, diabetes, heart disease) that are arising now that patients' HIV is well-controlled. She also has expertise in sexually transmitted infections, travel medicine, and the increasingly rare HIV-related opportunistic infections.
