Aiko Bailey L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. is an acupuncturist and Teaching Associate at Osher Center for Integrative Health. She is a licensed Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Practitioner and her treatment modalities include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, tuina (body-work) and food therapy. Bailey is accepting new patients by referral only.
Her special interest in treating patients is the mind-body connection and the role of Eastern medicine in treating chronic conditions. She has worked with patients with various ailments, including anxiety, digestive issues, headaches, muscle-skeletal pain, and more. Because she believes each symptom and condition is unique to each person, she strives to understand each patient to build an individualized treatment plan that best fits them.
Prior to pursuing her career in Acupuncture and Eastern medicine, she has been involved in research and program evaluation in the New York public health system. Aiko completed received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) from Bastyr University, and her doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She received her Diploma of Oriental Medicine through the national board, NCCAOM. Aiko is originally from Yokohama, Japan, and is fluent in English and Japanese.
